I have been downloading this manga from StopTazmo and as I’m writing this my Chapter 158 download is in progress. The scanlators have provided until chapter 190 to this date. I began downloading since 3 days ago and got about 3-4 chapters per hour or almost 40 chapters a day. Since this is the 4th day, with that statistics I presume I can finish it tomorrow until chapter 190. As far as I read it, there are 2 main story arcs until this point. The first being Ichigo’s introduction to the world of Shinigami and fighting Hollows (until chapter 50), and the second being the mission to rescue Rukia from Soul Society (which hasn’t finished yet as of chapter 157, the one I’m reading right now). It is interesting to see how the second story arc will finish (no spoilers please, I’ll reach chapter 190 soon enough). I wonder what will happen after they rescue Rukia and return to the normal world. Obviously they can’t remain in Soul Society forever. Chad, Inoue and Ishida are not Shinigami, and Ichigo’s body is still in the normal world.

Final Project Progress

The economic faculty’s class registration system was giving me headaches, but fortunately it has been resolved. Thanks to all the help from the academic administration firm, now I finally understand how the system works, and should be able to integrate it into my Final Project. The main problem to overcome is actually my laziness. With the presentation set to October 10th, the target is to finish the program in August, and the book in September. But in this state, the worst case would be to push the program to mid August and the book to early October, which would leave very little time for preparations. I hope I can finish the program in the next 2-3 weeks, then I can open the program for beta-testing while I finish the book. This way I still can do revisions if there are suggestions or errors found during beta-testing and evaluation. I might need to spread some utilization survey too, so I don’t want to press my time too much. The deadline is soon.
